Developed by MicroPro International, WordStar is often considered one of the first widely successful word processors and I even got a certificate of completion for it. Back then we would to all the text editing with keyboard shortcuts, which for those only using mouse now, gives everyone a very fast experience. So, I never had an issue exiting VIM (that’s a geeky joke!). Funny story, George R.R. Martin used WordStar for the Game of Thrones novel. It was a very simple and effective piece of software, I must admit.
